I'm a full-stack engineer, consultant, and teacher from Cincinnati, OH, sometimes residing in Tokyo, Japan. I enjoy creating web services and full-stack apps in JavaScript tech stacks. My biggest pet peeve is tech debt, so I always invest in architecture to get things right the first time.
My first website was a simple clone of Twitch.tv. My passion for games inspired me to make my own game community. That also helped kickstart another passion: web development. Since then, I haven't stopped making cool things.
After creating my first website in 2011
At Relip, I'm responsible for planning, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting features and improvements for their platform. I completed tasks like major version updates of API integrations and establishing thorough project documentation. I also trained less technical team members on development and debugging.
At Ougetsu, I developed software to streamline business operations. I created solutions for work shift scheduling, customer booking, self-service kiosks, a business site, and more.
I provide planning, development, and training as a third-party consultant for employees of small to large businesses.
As a tutor on Wyzant.com, I've taught software engineering to hundreds of current and future developers using my own personalized curriculums, including lecture and coursework.
The Software Engineering Technology Major (SET) focused on the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software used in a variety of industries.
